New city- new hair

Hey all 😚

I hope you’re enjoying your saturday!
Since I have moved to a new city, and started a new life, I thought it was about time for a change in my hairstyle. Everytime I go to the hairdresser I only get the usual 5-10 cm of broken hair taking off, and that’s fine as well, but I like it much better when you can really see and feel a difference in your look after a visit to the salon.
For years I have tried to grow my hair really long, but because it is so curly and easily gets frizzy it breaks very easily as well. So instead I decided to go for the over-shoulder straight cut 🙂

I am actually really happy with the result. And a definitely feel a difference! You know new hair-new woman.
It looks way more young and fresh than my previous hair, and it is really easy to comb and style after a shower. If you have a little bit off a long shaped face like me (😁), shorter hair can make your face look a bit rounder, were long hair often drags the face down a little bit, and I think that’s why I feel like the new hair gives me a younger wibe. If that makes sense. That’s how I felt when having my long hair anyway.
Cutting my hair (even though it’s not such a dramatic change I know) also made me think about how nice it is to change things up, and how stupid it is to be so afraid off change that you never do anything different with your look. It’s not like there is no going back- it’s gonna grow out again. I’ve always wanted to try something else than my blond hair, but always been afraid to do so – but now maybe I’ll go for it 😉

Talk to you soon!

Lots of love
– Maja
