Michelin starred, delicious and affordable Indian restaurant

Hi all 😘

Uhhgg it’s really getting colder an colder, now I can indeed feel that the winter is coming!
I’ve always felt like I was born in the wrong country as I HATE winter and coldness. Yes, okay, I can appreciate snow at Christmas, but that is it. The next place I’ll live I think should be in a warm climate. Maybe it sounds a bit silly, but when the sun is shinning, and it’s warm and light, it is genuinely effecting my mood and energy so much. If I’am in a bit of a tough and stressed period of my live and maybe don’t feel like jumping out the bed – waking up and seeing the sun shinning can honestly change everything and make me seize the day with a positive outlook. Therefor I always get a mini winter depressing every year, but maybe, and hopefully, London will change that this year, with all its amazing winter-experiences and events to attend.

One really nice experience I had recently was eating at the Michelin starred restaurant Trishna! The deal that we got was part of the London Restaurant Festival, which runs throughout October, and is giving Londoners the change to experience Londons amazing food scene at some much lower prices. I think that there is more than 200 restaurants collaborating, and there is all sorts of events like, wine and Cheese tastings, restaurant hoping and movie-dinning. I know that it’s a bit late to wright about it now but I just didn’t have time to try any of the restaurants earlier in the month as I was too busy.
But if you don’t have your weekend fully booked, and they still have tables, I would seriously recommend booking a table at Trishna! The food was really great and innovative, as it wasn’t your typical Indian dinning. It’s “really” cheap as well compared to their traditional prices (and they have a michelin star!). Just be aware that you need to book the table for, between 5:30 and 7:00 o’clock, when using the offor..
We paid, I think, 28 pounds for 3 courses and a cocktail. Especially I will recommend the vegetarian starter – it was amazing!! It’s one of the best Indian dinning experiences I’ve had and you could for sure feel that the quality of the food was extremely high. I don’t know if I think the food is worth paying the full price though – but considering the offer it was a bargain!

Have a really nice evening everyone – and check out if Trishna still have tables available if you want to have an extravagant food experience this weekend.

Love
– Maja

  1. Hello Maja! I’ve been craving Indian food for the past
few days and this seems like a great option. Thanks for
the review! Also, you’re right. It’s getting really cold in
London. You should pay a visit to Thailand sometime!
It’s always sunny. 😊 I will check out Trishna!

    1. Glad you liked it Mimi! 🙂 It is definitely worth trying, if you ask me.
And you have no idea how much I would love to take a holiday to Thailand soon! 😉 Could be just what I need!
