So this weekend my mom and sister are in town, and I’am so happy, because I miss them soo much! Before I moved here I have been use to seeing my family once a week for family-dinners and my sister I talked to everyday, so it is really a big change not seeing them as much. But it makes me appreciate it a lot more when I finally do. Next year my sister is going to study a semester of her MA in North England so I’am hoping were going to see each other a lot more then. And maybe explore England a bit together. I would hate to have been living here for a year and still only have been seeing London, so I need to get out and explore the rest og this rainy lovely country.
Last night we went to see Lion King which was the most beautiful thing! I love Lion King, and still watches it regularly – which I have been ever since I was like 2. I know and love all the songs – even though, I know them a lot better in danish 😉
Before we saw the musical we eat dinner, at a fantastic Italian pasta restaurant right next to Borough Market. I had heard about it before, and have been wanting to try it for a while. It is a little bit “hipster”-ish, but really chill and cosy at the same time. You can actually see the cooks rolling the fresh pasta dough behind the counter from the seats – it is really cool! Both the pasta and the cheese was really really amazing! I mean if you like pasta you so need to try this. And you can definitely feel that is is just made and fresh – and that they are using high quality commodities. It is a modest portion, but that is how pasta should be I think. I can recommend the goat cheese pasta, and the burrata starter – yum!!
Unfortunately the place do not take reservations 🙁 I mean maybe it is a good thing, because else they would properly be impossible to get a booking with – but you need to que for a little bit. We only waited 15 min. as we eat in a little bit weird time, 3:30 P.M.
If you are a pasta/cheese person, queuing is for sure worth it – just try for your self!
May you all have a brilliant weekend everyone. I know I will.
