Today have been a really early one for me, as I’ve been up from 6 A.M. But now I got all the small things that needs to be done from the computer finished before going to uni in a bit. Such a nice feeling!
As I’ve gotten older I’ve become more and more of an a-person were as I was younger I was a b-person with a big B. But now I don’t really feel like I can’t concentrate that well after I’ve eaten dinner and the clock is past 8 P.M. Wauw I sound really old now that I’m writing it down..😁 Well, that’s how it works best for me, and how I feel that I’m getting absolutely most out of my day – which is important to me. If there is something I hate it’s wasting time.
The only thing that I find super difficult right now is that it’s soo dark and cold, when I get up. I think almost all of us, can’t avoid getting a little bit effected by the darkness – and I wish I would be able to escape and go to a much much warmer place – just for a couple of weeks. But, as that is not at all something I have time for right now, I, and all of us that have to stay in the cold north trough the winter, just have to try and “make most of it” and be really good at taking care of our self!
There’s plenty of things we can do to be extra good to our self and our bodies in order to get through the (depressing) winter time.
I find that vitamins and an effective and good overnight moisturizer is super helpful to be able to feel healthy and energized through the winter. Especially vitamin D (the sun vitamin) can be very helpful if your usually getting a smaller winter depression. I also know some people who is using the sun-lamp, with something that I would describe like fake sunlight. I never tried it, and must admit I’m a bit skeptical, as it’s the missing light and warmth from the sun I’m missing – and not just random light from a lamp.. But supposedly it should be super helpful and I think worth trying – if your getting really effected by the missing light.
Sorry that flow of thoughts got a bit longer than expected – let me get back to focus here. – HOOLA!
I’ve been a Hoola fan for a long time! The very very popular and hyped bronzer from Benefit truly blends natural with the skin – and have the perfect and most natural light brown tint. I have recently received the Sugerbomb version from Benefit, which is a mix between to shades of brown and two shades of rosa – and very unexpected I’ve realized that this version is better than my original Hoola!
As much as I love the Hoola bronzer – it just needs to be worked with for a little while into the skin, especially into fair skin, to look natural, and as I’am always on the run from morning, I like my makeup to be simple and fast – AND beautiful of course 🙂 Therefore I think the Sugarbomb sister is absolutely perfect, as the combination of colors with a little bit pink/rosa in it, looks even more natural on my slightly red and fair scandinavia skin-tone. You don’t look as tanned, as with the Hoola, but definitely like you have been out in the sun, and you just get a super healthy glow as well!
Some people love the Hoola because it is completely shimmer-less, which I like as well, as nothing looks more unnatural for a basic make’up than having glitter all over your face. But actually I miss just a little bit shimmer-effect – not much – but a little bit can make you look super fresh and give a nice glow to your face, especially if you have dry skin.
So even though I didn’t think it was possible I have found a new favorite bronzer to replace the Hoola – still thanks to lovely Benefit, which really have done a good job in my book lately, with a lot of different amazing products!
