CONTRASTING COLOURS

Hi friends,

I am back from a fantastic trip from Sicily, which Couldn’t have been better!
Of course – except from our cancelled flight on our way there, which turned into a 20 hours long extra journey. But once we arrived all of that instantly become past worries, because in Sicily it is all about throwing away your watch, slowing down, enjoying life and eating lots of pasta. And that was exactly what we did. If I lived in Italy I think I instantly would put on 15 pounds (I mean just from 5 days I think I was well on the way), which explains why I only have been feeling like eating low fat yogurt and oatmeal since being back in Copenhagen.
Now I am spending my days very different – writing my dissertation.. Even though it can be insanely boring, I can’t help but think that I am going to miss the student life so much, when I am done in a couple of months. Both that I am able to really engage with a topic, but mostly how I can structure my days exactly as I want. I can go to the gym at 1 PM, to brunch with my girlfriend on a Wednesday or out for a late night on a Monday, and just plan my research around everything else that I have going on. I know that when I am done and get a full-time job, that is probably going to change. Or maybe not if I get a unrealistic perfect dream job or just start my own business 😉

The other day, I found a few rare hours of sunlight and decided to go for a walk in Valby Parken. I wore my newly bought skirt from Weekday (which was a total steal!), and some beautiful contrasting colours to mix it with. Red and green are some of favorite colours at the moment, and especially the cool contrast they create when you use them together.
