Yes this spicy pumpkin chai latte is not a calorie-bomb like the one you get in Starbucks. Still, it tasts just as good, if not better, and then it has been pumped up on the spiciness, so it really can keep you warm in these Winter months. This spicy pumpkin chai further contains a solid handfull ingredients that are good for you in more ways than to keep you warm.

Besides being incredibly delicious and having a natural sweetness, pumpkin is additionally awesome because it is super healthy. Its amount of both calories and carbs is incredibly low and besides that, it contains a nice stir of vitamin A, B and C.

Very important is it also that pumpkin is seasonal for fall and therefore tasts so much better now. And there are everywhere lately! Including here on the blog.

I am sure you have heard that this either beloved or disliked spice have some proved health benefits. Which, admitted, have taken a bit overhand lately with all the ginger shots and juices. But it is super good for us as in contains a solid portion of anti-inflammatory compounds that both help our digestion and our immune system

Vanilla beans

It isn’t something I would naturally think of in relation to this sweet spice with the most pleasing taste in the world, but vanilla beans are actually very good for us. They contain a high amount of antioxidants that will improve the health of our skin, hair and nails.

Just as important is it that vanilla beans compared to vanilla powder improves the taste so so much. I know they are more expensive but I will always recommend using them instead of the powder. Especially when it is for a hot drink like this.

This both looks and sounds amazing! I haven’t really had many Chai teas or anything like that, but I’d love to try them since everyone raves about them 🙂

Thank you very much Diana. It definitely is something I warmly recommend trying – especially in these cold Winter months 🙂

Totally need to try this (I’ve had way too many from Starbucks… so expensive)! I didn’t know vanilla beans had so many health benefits, that’s a really cool fact! Love how this is chalk full of “good for you” ingredients, so you can feel good while drinking it 🙂
