3 CPH NOVEMBER PICKS

What to do in Copenhagen

I really want to share my 3 picks for what to do in Copenhagen each months.
Every time I read about something, or hear about something I think sounds interesting I immediately write it down in my online organiser/notebook. It always end up with me having so many things I want to do, compared to what I have time for. So I thought it would make sense to share the top picks here on the blog 🙂

What to do in Copenhagen ?

Despite of its lack of sunny-beach days, Copenhagen is my favourite city in the world. Because it has so much to offer, while still being down to earth, spacy and present. Copenhagen is further one of the much interesting and forward-thinking cities on the gastronomic front, and, to my happiness, they have even started to live up to that on the vegetarian front as well.

You therefore can’t be too surprised that my top picks for November are mostly food-related;

1. SLOW CHEESE COPENHAGEN | 4. November

2. GRO SPISERI | All through November

3. FINDERSKEEPERS | 4.-5. November

What do I really want to do ?

I only want to write posts I think is relevant for me and my readers. Some bloggers are blogging based on a “super personality”- and just inspire people by being as they are – I love following those and think they can be super cool! But my blog is based on categories I am good add, have studied, have worked with, spend a lot of time researching and have deep interests for.
So I will never try to force recurrent post-types like this, but only share things I really feel are super cool.

What to do in Copenhagen

1. SLOW CHEESE COPENHAGEN

I have for a long time clearly expressed my love for cheese ! However I am thinking a lot about the quality of the cheese I am buying and how it has been produced.
At Slow Cheese, local Danish cheesemakers will share their (mostly) organic products, which consists of both cheese, bread, dips and wine – and that is something I not only want to support, but have to experience.

2. GRO SPISERI

My philosophy for making creative tastefull food is both to be playful and curious – but also to use good products of high quality. Making a dish from high quality, organic products full of taste and life can for me sometimes even be enough to make it outstanding.
At Gro Spiseri they only use locally sourced ingredients, and actually grow almost all of their products themself.
From ultimo November they switch to a Christmas menu, and I will dare to say that that is very difficult to make into a delicious vegetarian creation – so November is my last change to try them this year.

3. FINDERSKEEPERS

Entrepreneurship is a huge interest of mine, and has really blossomed after my year in London. Finders Keepers is an entrepreneurial initiative that have grown massively doing the last couple of years. Their mission is to create a space where the best up-and-coming designers, both from the art, interior, fashion and jewellery world can meet. It is a great way to support innovativity and new talents in Copenhagen, and also to find gorgeous and unique design creations.
This year I am super exited about their new botanic element and their street food market; Finders Eaters !

Shopping in the city

What to do in Copenhagen at fall in the category of shopping, is another important consideration. That is because of this time a years’ overload of stock-sales. I am for sure going to Munthe’s. If your are a hidden luxury-shopaholic then it is really worth doing some research, finding your favourites and saving a hell of a lot of money.
